In the Macedonian village of Vaksince, 2 miles from the Kosovo border. 34 ethnic Albanian refugees (11 children and 23 adults) have been given refuge by Vehbi Fetahi, 56, and his three younger brothers. The compound's population has increased from 23 before the influx to 57 since their arrival. The Macedonian government does not provide welfare relief payments or food. Fetahi and his family provide all food and clothing.
