On the Edge of Exclusion zone On rt 114 in just outside of Namie, Fukushima, Futaba Saiseki Kogyo, Quarry company said it shipped more than 5000 tons of gravel to at least 19 construction Around Japan companies after the nuclear crisis. In December it was disclosed that a high level of radiation was detected on the first floor of a new condominium in Nihonmatsu, Fukushima, whose concrete foundations were made by incorporating crushed stones from the Namie quarry.
