Namoku is A mountian Village in Gunma prefecture less than a two hour drive from Tokyo Allows a glimpse into the future of Japan's rural communities, faced with a growing aged population the small town of Nanmoku (pop 22,000 has a population of which 58% is over the age of 65. elementary school built for up to 400 students now has 27 with only two enrolled in 1st grade and zero in 3rd. Town officials have with the help of National government is offering property and assistance for anyone willing to relocate here hoping to attract more families to it;s aging community.
